Blue Axis is a security and software team. We test systems the way attackers exploit them, and we build systems to a standard where that testing has nothing easy to find. The two halves are the same expertise, and we are both.
From the founder
I have spent nearly 30 years building software, much of it in places where a mistake is not a bug. Healthcare, where patient data is regulated to the letter. Finance, where the numbers have to be exactly right. And federally licensed firearms retail, which turned out to be one of the most compliance-dense environments in the country, where a single missed rule is a federal violation. Along the way I went deep on the other side of that work: server security, HIPAA, SOC 2, and the hard discipline of keeping production systems current and correct.
Three years ago I started engineering a way to build with AI that holds its output to a senior engineer’s standard, instead of the fast-and-fragile code most AI produces. That work gave me something I didn’t expect. To make AI build software that doesn’t break, you have to understand exactly how software breaks. So we do both now. We build with AI, and we secure the AI systems other teams are rushing to ship.
That is the whole company in one idea: the people who build your systems are the people who know how they get attacked.

How we work
A small, senior team. No account managers between you and the people doing the work. We say what we find in plain words, we hold our own code to published standards, and we would rather tell you the uncomfortable truth about your systems than the comfortable one.
